Also with Dish Network, all of the equipment is free and they have free installation where a technician will come out to your house, mount the dish and get you the best reception possible. Dish Network receivers also come with built in DVRs so that you can record and watch all of your favorite TV shows. Dish Network is also coming out with some innovative features such as offering their live TV package on Android Tablets and combining with Google TV to offer search capabilities across the web and DVR content. The Reviews

Much like any big corporation, there are many people who are against big satellite providers. So Dish Network does have its share of detractors. One user said he had Dish Network for a little over a year now and has nothing but great things to say about it. He used to have digital cable but he gets all the same great channels for $50 less per month. Another user said that the picture quality was excellent, better than cable. He didn’t realize that satellite TV can give you a better picture quality than even digital cable. Another customer said the selection of movies and local channels was far better than what cable had to offer and so much cheaper.

Yet other reviewers had problems saying that Dish Network had some outages in their area during a particularly big snow storm. However she lives in a very rural area so it takes some time to get good service out there so take that into consideration when making your decision. Overall the consensus of opinions for Dish Network were mostly positive. The people who had negative things to say wasn’t about the service, it was about the customer service.
